STD/HIV Clinics

The Wayne County Health Department offers confidential and affordable testing for sexually transmitted diseases and Rapid Test HIV testing. Routine testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea is done during the STD exam with other testing available if appropriate. The services are offered during walk-in hours on Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:30PM and some morning appointments are available.

HIV testing is done with the HIV Rapid Test. Results take 20 minutes and are available the same day you take the test. Clients should not eat, drink, use gum or tobacco, or have dental work/hygiene one hour before their appointment.

Hepatitis Screening is now available at the Wayne County Health Department.  Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C counselling and testing are available by appointments on Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.

Please call 330-264-9590 for pricing information. Additional lab fees may apply.  Medicaid cards accepted.

Cost of HIV testing is $30.00 donation. No one will be refused HIV testing for inability to pay.
