COVID VACCINES

The Wayne County Health Department will be administering
Initial and Second dose series
and pediatric COVID-19 vaccine

Moderna, Pfizer, and Novavax vaccines are available for Initial and Second doses

Pfizer and Moderna bivalent vaccine are both available
Pfizer bivalent vaccine is for anyone 12 years of age and older
​​​​​​​Pfizer pediatric bivalent vaccine for childre 5 - 11 years of age
Moderna bivalent vaccine is for anyone 6 years of age and older

 

​​​​​​​The bivalent vaccine must be administered 2 months after any previous dose
once the primary series is completed and 3 months after testing positive for COVID

 

COVID vaccines are administered at walk-in clinics on:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
8:30 - 11:30 and 1:00 - 4:00

Children 5 years and older can receive either Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.
​​​​​​​The Health Department has Moderna vaccine available for children 6 months - 4 years

Please bring verification of your vaccine status with you,
​​​​​​​otherwise vaccine cannot be administered.

Those 5 years of age and older are eligible for Pfizer bivalent booster.

Johnson & Johnson vaccine is available for first and second doses only. 
The third dose MUST BE either Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

Pediatric Doses

 Moderna Pediatric vaccine is being administered to children 6 months - 4 years of age.
Children 5 years and older may receive either Moderna or Pfizer vaccine.

Children 5 years of age and older are eligible for Pfizer bivalent booster.
Children 6 years of age and older are eligible for Moderna bivalent booster.

CDC has created the COVID-19 Quarantine and Isolation (Q&I) Calculator to help provide an easy-to-use way for people to follow the CDC's guidance on quarantine and isolation and get customized information to address their unique situation.

DISCLAIMER:  The Q&I Calculator is not for people with COVID-19 who are moderately or severely ill or those who have a weakened immune system.

This tool does not apply to cases and close contacts identified in certain settings.
