PPD skin tests are available as a screening tool for Tuberculosis at the Health Department
- PPD tests are done during clinic hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please call 330-264-9590 ext. 210 to make an appointment.
- Client must return 48-72 hours after test to have the results read.
- The only insurance we currently take for these tests is Medicaid.
- The cost is $35
QuantiFERON Gold TB Test
- A blood draw used to detect infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacteria that causes tuberculosis.
- Test can be performed Monday through Thursday. Results take approximately 2-3 business days.
- We are unable to bill insurance for the TB blood test.
